Dear jl,
Since you have many constraints, it's better use "solver" than "goal seek" to your satisfaction. Regards, ll jl wrote: Example : week 5, customer ABC's requirement is 100,000 pcs of 1U, 30,000 pcs of 1T, 60,000 pcs of PP, 1,000 pcs of 2T and 1,000 pcs of 1C. Excel models for Machine Allocation problems are available at http://www.solver.com/proframe.htm Your problem statement is not complete. You need details of unit capacity for each line, details of cost, etc. - Mike http://mikemiddleton.com "jl" wrote in message ... hi ll, Thanks ... do you have any ideas how does a solver works on my scenarios ... need scenarios function to running MPS for production planning
Dear jl,
The office suite has a sample demonstrating how to use solver function. Use the search "solvsamp.xls" in your computer. ll jl wrote: hi ll, Thanks ... do you have any ideas how does a solver works on my scenarios ...
