Default Navigate Excel--Tab key is functioning like ctrl--, how to fix

This is bugging the heck out of me. When I press "tab" in an excel worksheet,
instead of moving one cell over, the cursor moves to the end of the visible
page (just like if you were to press ctrl --). I can't find anywhere in the
"options" section on how to revert back to the normal function of the "tab"
key. Does anyone know?
