Default temporary files to the recording of Excel

Hello,
Here the reason of this post
Configuration: single site, Ethernet network and Wifi
NOS Windows sbs 2003
OS (10): Windows 2000 sp4 and XP pro
Microsoft Offices: Office 2000 pro, Office PME XP

Problem:
First my english
second :
Creation of temporary files to the recording of Excel files ,
impossibility to record the document or modifying under the same
name, opening in reading only whereas the file is not used.
These some symptoms
vary according to the users and from the shared repertories.
I have test to disable the antivirus on the shared repertories,
the owner of the files is an authenticated user of the field and
side users.
I work by group and repertory by function (purchase group for
repertory purchase, commercial, counted…).
Each member of the group has the same rights (RWX)

Question:
This must with the presence of versions different from microsoft
office?
Have a solution to correct this problem? Cordially
