Default how do I insert a blank row when pasting?

Hi:
I have a column of numbers which I want to copy and paste to another
column, but I would like to insert a blank row after each number, for
example
I would like to copy the number from A1 into B1, then A2 into B3 (B2
becomes blank), A3 into B5 (B4 becomes blank) etc.

hope this is clear
thanks
