Default text disappears from document to excel

when i move a large amount of text from a document to a cell on an excel
spreadsheet, the last few sentences of the text gets cut off. is there a word
limit that each cell will hold? any way to set it so it will include the
complete text?

Yes, there is a limit as shown in the help file (1,024 characters) See
"Worksheet and workbook specifications" Have you considered the use of a
text box?
