New data in table not showing in graph
I've started tracking some figures and each day we input the new figures using the form option from the data menu. I have a chart that shows how the data changes each day however the datasource does not update daily and I'd I'd like it to include the new row of data added each day without having to re-select the datasource with the new line. Thanks for any help you can give. Excel 97, Win98se Justin. -- Justin C by the sea. |

Hi Justin
if you base the datasource on a dynamic range name it will then update as you add new data - check out http://www.contextures.com/xlNames01.html#Dynamic for full details on how to do this -- Cheers JulieD check out www.hcts.net.au/tipsandtricks.htm ....well i'm working on it anyway "Justin C" wrote in message e.com... All three suggestions amounted to the same thing and I've now learned about OFFSET (not sure where I'll ever use it again but it was invaluable for this). Thanks again.
