Save Workbook as HTML
I am creating an Excel workbook that has 1 data tab and several other tabs
with charts based on the data. This is essentially a report that is sent to customers with information pertinent to their accounts. The concept is that the workbook is a template wherein the data tab is populated from Access, save the workbook under the customer name and repeat the process for all customers. I would like to save the workbooks as HTML so they could be emailed or posted on a web site. The "Save as Web Page" menu selection works except for the fact that Excel creates a folder with the files included in each workbook. The question is: Can I save the workbook as a static HTML page that looks the same as the workbook, but with all the charts embedded in the HTML so that it can be viewed without having access to the underlying files? I am not terribly familiar with HTML. I am using Excel 2003. I am very good with VBA and Access and would like to accomplish the whole task through automation. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Steve Any help would be appreciated. |
