How can I give permission to other users to add comment to my protected sheet

Unlock any cells where you want users to enter comments, OR provide
unlocked cells for them to use for that purpose!

When protecting the sheet allow users to "edit objects"

Does not matter if the cells are locked or unlocked, as long as you
can select them.

Well, you're absolutely right but I wasn't thinking of 'Cell Comments'
though. I was thinking the OP was asking about using cells to enter
comments instead, being that sheet protection allows editing objects!
In this case I presumed using cells for this since sheet protection was
already configured (or so I ass-u-me d).<g>
