Default legends in excel

i'm trying to have my legend of my chart be the "legend" to column A in my
worksheet. Ive tried a hundred times to no avail. what do i do?
am i supposed to add the cell range, and if so, how?

I'm not sure what you're trying to do, but perhaps the information in
