Are you sure you "erased" your Excel application?

That would be very difficult to do.

Perhaps you just deleted the shortcut to Excel.exe

Try StartRun "excel.exe"(no quotes)

Any success?

You cannot download a free copy of Excel from the 'net.

You can download a trial version of Office 2003 Standard from here.

Right click "start", left click "Explore", find something with the X (excel)
logo. Click it and I'll wager it opens. You deleted a shortcut if it does and
the program is still there.

The setup will be run from your CD with the paid-for three-computer licence.

Unfortunately, it came pre-installed on my laptop and i purchased
the license as the trial period ended. I cant find an install app in the
laptop anywhere. No CD came with the laptop either......thoughts?

From whom did you purchase the licence at the end of the Free Trial?

They would be the one to ask for instructions on installation.

Have you checked with your seller to see what's up?

I purchased it online from Microsoft through the program itself
.....man....rhetorical questions.
Well, my 17 year old figured out what you guys couldn't. According to what
he found, call 800-360-7561 Mon-Fri 5AM-7PM PST and Microsoft will
send an installation CD upon confirmation of purchase. I will call Monday.

I find it interesting that many responses here seem to immediately imply
that everyone is looking for free access to programs. Granted many will
attempt to use programs illegally, please dont assume all who request
information here do so simply to gain illegal access.

I am happy your 17 year old found out how to get you a CD.

Just curious how you expected any one of us to know that you purchased from
Microsoft when you had not supplied that information until this post.

Rhetorical.........I think not Joe.

Your lack of information in your first posting led to questions and delays.

I have paid for a license on my laptop and my EULA says it covers
3 machines. I want to add Excel 2003 to my PC so i can use the

If you think the above provides enough information for us to tell you to phone
Microsoft and ask for a CD then you must believe we are all clairvoyant.

I will watch for your posts and refrain from bothering/annoying you in future.
